Jordi Mitjà

S/T, 2017

Painted metal
50 x 35 x 20 cm

Taking as a starting point the discarded elements and the use of simple materials, Jordi Mitjà traces the territory as an ethnographer with a dyslexic gaze. In a kind of visual trap, materials change their properties to those that are contrary to them; metal becomes flimsy and malleable as if Uri Geller’s eyes had bent it.
